April 3, 2009 — Rascal Flatts releases its much-anticipated Unstoppable album Tuesday, and the band is reaching out to GAC Superfans with a Rascal Flatts Unstoppable Weekend Friday through Sunday.

GAC’s free Superfan program gives viewers a chance to win country-related merchandise by simply signing up, accumulating points and cashing in those points for prizes. The Unstoppable Weekend features the Flatts band members — Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney — providing clues for trivia questions, bonus codes and a scavenger hunt hourly during the most-watched parts of the day, beginning Friday at 6 p.m. ET and ending Sunday at 8 p.m. ET. A special bonus code will be announced during the ACM Orange Carpet special Sunday at 7 p.m. ET.

It’s all part of a promotional whirlwind for Rascal Flatts, which kicked off a round of public appearances with attendance Thursday at the world premiere of Hannah Montana: The Movie in Hollywood. The band has two songs in the picture, which hits theaters April 10. They perform again on the 44th annual Academy of Country Music Awards Sunday, then kick in on "Today" Tuesday, "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" April 13 and "The Late Show With David Letterman" April 16.

In addition, Rascal Flatts is one of just two country acts slated thus far for the annual country concert series on NBC’s "Today," according to Billboard. The band appears live in New York on the show July 10. The only other country star slated for the series is their former opening act, Taylor Swift, who’s booked May 29.
