Alan Jackson, Kellie Pickler, Gloriana Make Thunder-ous Visit to "Top 20"

July 24, 2009 — A week ago, the small town of Twin Lakes, Wis., was turned into a country music mecca during the annual Country Thunder USA festival, and GAC’s Suzanne Alexander was on hand to capture the atmosphere from many of the stars, including Alan Jackson, Kellie Pickler and Gloriana, who’ll be part of the coverage on this week’s edition of Top 20 Country Countdown.

Consisting of Cheyenne Kimball, Rachel Reinert and brothers Tom and Mike Gossin, Gloriana got a preemo slot on the bill for Taylor Swift’s Fearless Tour this year, coinciding with its first hit single, "Wild At Heart." The video is at No. 12 on this week’s Top 20 chart, and iTunes is already taking pre-orders for the band’s first album, offering a live version of "Wild At Heart" as an exclusive bonus track. The CD comes out Aug. 4.

Other acts that show up on this week’s Top 20 include Rodney Atkins, Phil Vassar and Heidi Newfield.
