January 31, 2008 — Kellie Pickler knows what it takes to be a recording artist, an American Idol performer and a beauty-pageant contestant. Now she's got a handle on being a TV correspondent as well.

Kellie travelled to Phoenix Tuesday to serve as the media day reporter for "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno," according to Country Aircheck. She didn't take the job seriously. She wore dreadlocks while interviewing one player and convinced others to place "I Love Kellie Pickler" strips under their eyes. She also gave a copy of her debut album to New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan with a suggestion that he "picture Tom Brady in some red high heels."

Kellie's spot is slated to air on "The Tonight Show" Friday.
