Montgomery Gentry Continues To Support Troops

May 1, 2006 — This year's Suwannee River Jam in Live Oak, Florida was an experience of a lifetime for two fans: Sgt. Michael Wooten and Staff Sgt. James Morgan. The two Marines were quite surprised when Montgomery Gentry's Eddie Montgomery personally visited them at their camp site to thank them for the job they're doing. "Every American should have to go over and see the stuff I have seen and they would understand all that the US Forces do for our country," said Eddie to Wooten and Morgan. Eddie, who has toured with the USO in Iraq, even gave the guys and their families a private performance and told one of the wives, "Behind every good marine is a good woman."

Montgomery Gentry are just two of country's biggest stars who support the troops. On the duo's recent trip overseas, Troy Gentry kept a journal that he's shared with GACTV.com.
