June 29, 2006--According to tennessean.com, Jack Ingram, who just scored his first No. 1 country song with "Wherever You Are," also is just coming off the road opening for Sheryl Crow. Jack tells The Tennessean's website that Sheryl's no diva--in fact, she even invited him to sing a song with her during her set. Which song?
Any song Jack wanted. Jack says that was a classy move, and he chose one of her biggest hits, "If It Makes You Happy."

Sheryl's "peeps" were impressed when he showed for sound check and he knew the words, the chords, the arrangement and everything. "You should've heard [previous opening act] Ryan Adams' version," Sheryl said.
