July 13, 2006--"Yee Haw" singer Jake Owen says he's a summer kind of guy who loves being on the water. You'll find him hanging with friends on the lake water skiing and canoeing up and down the Harpeth River, admittedly with a few beers in tow. But Jake's favorite vacation spot is the Cayman Islands. "Sting Ray City!" he tells X Radio. "Yeah, that’s cool! These are like, huge, big things. And it’s weird–you can pet them. It’s surprising they don’t sting you. Cayman Islands is a cool place."
