Jack Ingram Still Gets Chills

July 20, 2006--Jack Ingram’s recent success has been the result of a lot of years of hard work. He's been on the music scene for well over 10 years trying to make it happen. Now that it has, he admits he doesn’t feel any different. "I feel the same," says Jack to X Radio. "I still get the chills when I play a gig. I still love talking about music; it’s just I get to do it a lot more now. Twelve months ago I wasn’t as busy traveling? and I wasn’t on the bus as much, but I was busy as hell trying to be. I was calling my manager every day and calling people to co-write and calling the producer to do tracks on our own, trying to get a record deal."

Jack does confess that his recent success does feel pretty good. "Now I feel like we’ve got traction and it certainly doesn’t feel like we’re spinning our wheels anymore," he says. "So, that feels great."
