Marshall Grant Donates Johnny Cash's Guitar

July 27, 2006--Marshall Grant, the bassist for Johnny Cash's backing group, the Tennessee Two, has donated a very special guitar to the newly-opened Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum in Nashville, Tenn. Johnny used the Guild guitar between 1965 and 1969. He performed, recorded and wrote many of his hits on this instrument. In fact, this guitar was the actual guitar played on the original recording of "Ring of Fire". Years ago, Johnny gave the guitar to Marshall, who graciously presented it to the MHOF.
