Kid Rock & Pamela Anderson Tie Knot In Nashville

August 23, 2006--The Tennessean's Heather Byrd reports that last Wednesday night, August 16, at Nashville's legendary Tootsie's Orchid Lounge on lower Broadway, Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson tied the knot again, after having their first wedding ceremony last month in St. Tropez.

Just before midnight on Wednesday, Judge John Brown's telephone rang. Publicist Kirt Webster, a pal of Kid Rock's, asked the Judge to officiate. "Once he told me who it was for, I said I'd be right down to Tootsies," says Brown. "I wasn't in bed yet, but I was close. But I didn't mind a bit because I didn't have a whole lot going on at that hour. In fact, when I first heard that they were going to have a Nashville wedding, I called Kirt and told him I wanted to perform the ceremony."

Byrd reports, "Onstage, the blushing bride, clad in a short, fitted, white mesh mini-dress and stiletto heels, stood next to her beau, Detroit's "favorite son," Kid Rock, aka Robert James "Bobby" Ritchie, before a crowd of cheering fans."

Witnessing the ceremony were Webster, and Rae Krenn of The Palm in Nashville. Rae is mother to Aussie country music singer Sherrie Austin, who has performed onstage with Kid in Las Vegas a few times.

"I had worked a 14-hour shift at The Palm, and Kid rang me at home and asked me to come down," says Krenn. "Pam really is a sweet, sweet lady, and Kid was an absolute gentleman. I just had to stand there as one of the witnesses, but the crowd was going wild! It was a night in Nashville that no one will ever forget!"

Byrd adds, "After the ceremony, Pamela, Judge Brown, Rae and Kirt left the stage and returned to their booth to watch Kid perform a number of songs including Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama" and Hank William's Jr.'s "Family Tradition." He performed for almost an hour before moving the party across the street to The Palm for champagne and cocktails."

On her website diary, pamelaanderson.com, Pamela wrote: "Marriage Number 3! Nashville Tootsies. In front of the coolest crowd. Bobby's singing 'Sweet Home Alabama'!"
