February 5, 2007 — Josh Turner often talks about how he was introduced to the legends of country music by his grandmother when he was a child. Now he can thank her not only for his love of traditional country music but also for the success of his current single.

"I had this song that I had written, "Me and God," that was real special to me," Josh tells Dial-Global, "and when it came time to make this record, my manager and I came up with the idea to get Diamond Rio to sing background vocals on it and Dr. Ralph Stanley to sing on it to really make it a work of art."

"One of the first records I ever heard was one of the Stanley Brothers records, from my Grandmomma's house," Josh explains. "I wish my Grandmomma was here to see this, because this would just make her day, knowing that her grandboy and Dr. Ralph were in the same studio together."
