May 8, 2007 — Josh Turner says Craig Morgan's latest single, "Tough," really hits home in his own personal life. He tells Dial-Global that the line, "I thought I was tough until she came along" pretty much says it all about his wife, Jennifer.
Josh says the song is especially fitting "now that she's had a child and she's taken such good care of herself. She has lost out on more sleep than I could possibly survive. If I get seven hours and 59 minutes, I'm cranky when I wake up. There's been times where she's gotten two, three hours of sleep, just one night after another. And she's carried on and put a smile on her face and just gone on about her business."
Josh says he's amazed by the sacrifices Jennifer has made since their baby boy was born. "She loves him unconditionally, as I do, but, she's just done a lot of things that I don't think I would have been able to do," he says. "I think that God gives mothers something that we fathers don't have."
