May 10, 2007 — Sugarland's "Settlin'" captured the top spot on both the Mediabase and R&R charts this week, marking the duo's second No. 1 in a row on the heels of their first chart-topper, "Want To."

Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles tell Dial-Global that the song from their CD Enjoy the Ride has a special meaning for them. "This was actually one of the first songs we wrote for this record, and it's actually the first song on the album, so it really resonates for us every time I hear it — whenever anybody puts it on," Kristian says. "I love hearing it on the radio because it does speak about everybody's story. And it's interesting that when we sat down to write this album, we wrote our first song about not settling."

"Raising the bar, yeah," adds Jennifer. "I think it's perfect that way, just because we sat down and wrote that and when I heard it I was like, 'Oh, we're gonna be fine. This is good.'"
