May 14, 2007 — Blake Shelton's new CD, Pure BS, debuted at No. 2 this week on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, just behind his girlfriend and fellow artist, Miranda Lambert, who topped the charts with her sophomore release, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Miranda beat Blake's first week sales total by 4,499 copies.

Blake tells icebergradio.com, "First of all, I demand a recount because we had a bet on who would sell the most records the first week the albums came out, and I think she beat me by two or three thousand albums and I just really think I'm going to call for a recount, especially in Florida. I just don't see how she beat me, but she did, and now I've got to take her on vacation for three days because she won the bet."

Blake still has Miranda beat in the singles department, though, with his "Don't Make Me," closing in on the Top 10 on the country charts.
