May 25, 2007 — Gretchen Wilson is now three for three with chart-topping album debuts, as her much-anticipated third CD, One of the Boys, debuts at No. 1 on the SoundScan Country Chart. The disc also hit the Top 200 Chart at an impressive No. 5. Gretchen's first two albums, Here for the Party and All Jacked Up, which have sold a combined six million units, both entered the Country Chart at No. 1.

"I am so thankful to my fans who have stuck with me on this crazy rocket ride," Gretchen says. "And I have to thank my band, crew, management, everyone at the label and especially my family for their support."

Gretchen tells Dial-Global she also credits her continued success with the fact that she is unwilling to share anything except the truth with her audience.

"I think that the industry let me know off the bat that being truly genuine and honest and open and just being who I was was what they wanted, and to me it looked like the right path," she says. "The thing that I heard the most from everybody was just that they were happy to see somebody just being proud of who they are, where they come from, what they're happy with and life is good enough for them. It made them feel stronger about themselves."

Gretchen recently completed a string of media appearances including performances on "The Today Show," "Live with Regis & Kelly" and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." Magazine covers and features include Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, an eight-page spread in Artworks magazine and the current issue of People.

Gretchen kicked off her There Goes the Neighborhood tour last week with a free concert at the famed Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas, where she introduced several songs from the new CD. Muzik Mafia-mate John Rich came out to sing her hit "Come to Bed," and Gretchen surprised the 20,000+ audience by bringing Heart out to perform "Barracuda."
