May 30, 2007 — Fans rarely see Trace Adkins with his long hair not pulled back into his trademark pony tail, and the singer told icebergradio.com that the only time he lets it all hang out, so to speak, is when he's trying to get a reaction from members of his camp.
"My management company and the record label and my publicist, they all hate it when it's down," he said. "They absolutely hate it. They just hate it when it's down, so I wear it down just to make 'em mad."
Trace added that he has not ruled out the idea of cutting his hair, but if he does, he'll go from one extreme to the other. "If I ever do cut my hair, it's gonna be a crew cut, G.I. I'll go from one low-maintenance 'do to another low-maintenance 'do. I'm not ever gonna carry a blow dryer on the road with me...ever."
Trace's new single, "I Wanna Feel Something," is climbing the country charts.
