July 5, 2007 — Jack Ingram has always been focused on fitness, but a recent incident while on the road with Brad Paisley's Bonfires & Amplifiers tour in Spokane proved just how dedicated to running he really is.
"I've been working out at the gym and running five miles every day I can on the road," Jack says. "I have one of the assistants from the venue drop me off five miles from the amphitheater, and I usually memorize the route so I remember how to make it back. Well, in Spokane I got to talking with the girl dropping me off and wasn't paying attention to the route, so I ended up making a wrong turn on the way back. Keep in mind, I had no cell phone, no money, no ID...nothing!"
Jack ran through a farm and had to jump over some barbed wire before he found the venue about 30 minutes later! "So if you see me running in your town," he says, "you may want to stop and ask me if I need directions!"
