Phil Vassar and Wife Are Divorcing

August 9, 2007 — Phil Vassar and his wife, Julie Wood Vassar, are getting a divorce, Dial-Global reports. The papers were filed in Davidson County Circuit Court in March.

Phil and Julie were married in 2002. Together they have one daughter, three-year-old Presley. Phil also has another daughter, Haley, from a previous marriage.

On a happier note, Phil is looking forward to the release of his next studio album, Prayer of a Common Man, which will arrive in stores on October 30.
