Heartland Singer a Proud Daddy

August 16, 2007 — Heartland's lead singer, Jason Albert and his wife, Kelly, welcomed the arrival of their first child, Kelson Noël, on Tuesday, August 14, at 7:09 p.m. Kelson was born in Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Ala., and weighed in at 7 pounds 6 ounces. Mama and baby girl are both doing well.

Heartland also has a new single, "Once a Woman Gets a Hold of Your Heart," now out on radio. The song, written and produced by John Rich of Big and Rich, is the follow-up to their No. 1 debut single, " I Loved Her First." The band is currently on the road, stopping in New Martinsville, W.V., this Saturday.
