August 28, 2007 — Carrie Underwood and other country stars will give fans an early holiday gift with the October 2 release of Hear Something Country Christmas, a 14-song, 14-artist celebration of the season, featuring six tracks recorded exclusively for the collection.

Among holiday evergreens from Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Brooks & Dunn, Martina McBride and Brad Paisley, the album includes all-new recordings from Carrie Underwood ("Do You Hear What I Hear"), Sara Evans ("I'll Be Home for Christmas"), Terri Clark ("O Little Town of Bethlehem"), Keith Anderson ("Please Come Home for Christmas"), Blaine Larsen ("Away in a Manger"), Phil Vassar ("Let's Make a Little Christmas Tonight") and Kellie Pickler ("Santa Baby)."

The CD also features a classic Johnny Cash rendition of "Silent Night" and Montgomery Gentry's take on Robert Earl Keen's wry "Merry Christmas from the Family."
