October 10, 2007 — Rissi Palmer will be a featured artist on Yahoo! Music's "The New Now," which highlights top new talent, from October 17 through November 21.
Fans who visit yahoomusic.com will have an all-access pass to view an exclusive interview and live performance by Rissi, learn who her favorite artists are, and find out what's coming up next for the singer-songwriter.
"The New Now" is a segment of Who's Next, a comprehensive initiative of Yahoo! Music's that seeks to discover and highlight new talent. "The New Now" highlights emerging artists on the brink of widespread success; it has included features on Sean Kingston, Taylor Swift, Robin Thicke and Amy Winehouse, to name a few.
Rissi's debut single, "Country Girl," is climbing the country singles chart and will be included on her upcoming self-titled debut album scheduled for release on October 23.
