November 7, 2007 — Music City, Inc. recently held a special ceremony to induct artists into the Music City Walk of Fame presented by (founding sponsor) Gibson Guitar. Rodney Crowell, Bob DiPiero, Vince Gill, Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Killen, and Barbara Mandrell were among the walk's third class of inductees.

The unveiling of the six commemorative sidewalk markers took place at Hall of Fame Park in downtown Nashville. The induction ceremony was sponsored by Great American Country (GAC). The Music City Walk of Fame is an official project of Music City, Inc., the charitable foundation of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau (NCVB), and is produced with the support of presenting sponsor Gibson Guitar, sponsor GAC, the City of Nashville and Metro Parks.
