November 20, 2007 — These days Carrie Underwood is often seen in glamorous outfits at awards shows or parties, but she tells Country Weekly that her home life is fairly average and normal.

Carrie, who has picked up three CMA awards and two American Music awards in the past few weeks, insists that most days in her life are not that special. "I take my dog outside and eat breakfast," she says. "Then I get ready and run errands or clean the house."

And for fun, Carrie admits that she loves to go shopping and just hang out with friends. Although her career doesn't leave much time for dating, Carrie does have an image of her ideal guy. "I don't look for anything initially," Carrie says. "But I would like somebody who's ambitious and wants to better their life."

Carrie also reveals that her favorite song on her new CD, Carnival Ride, is "Wheel of the World," which inspired the album's title.
