Taylor Swift to Help Announce Grammy Nominees

November 21, 2007 — Taylor Swift will be traveling to Hollywood on December 6 to help read the nominations for the 50th Annual Grammy Awards

Taylor will join R&B singer/songwriter Akon, 27-time Grammy winner and 50th Celebration Ambassador Quincy Jones and two-time Grammy-winning group Linkin Park in announcing the nominations. More presenters will be announced soon.

Grammy season officially kicks off with the nominations announcement. The 50th Annual Grammy Awards will take center stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 10, 2008, on CBS.

Next week Taylor will be in New York to perform on NBC's 10th annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center telecast. She will join Carrie Underwood, Tony Bennett, Celine Dion, Josh Groban and co-hosts Nick Lachey, Al Roker and Ashley Tisdale on the live holiday special that includes the lighting of the world's most famous Christmas tree. The show airs November 28 at 8 p.m. ET.
