November 27, 2007 — Eric Church was surprised last week when he showed up for what he believed was the premiere episode taping of a new Food Network show called Singin' in the Kitchen at Nashville's Loveless Café.
Eric and the Loveless' famed biscuit lady, Carol Fay, soon learned that they were in fact going to appear in one of Eric's favorite shows, Throwdown! with Bobby Flay, in which Chef Flay challenges a cooking master to a surprise cook-off.
Eric and local chef and restaurateur Martha Stamps were faced with judging the homemade biscuits and jams of both Carol Fay and Bobby Flay. You can find out who they pronounced the winner when the episode airs in January on the Food Network. Check foodnetwork.com for air times.
