December 21, 2007 — Faith Hill tells US Weekly that she may someday become a First Lady — not of the U.S. but of Tennessee, if her husband, Tim McGraw, decides to fun for governor.

"Tim has talked about maybe running for office, and I know how passionate he is about things," Faith says. "When he says he really wants to do something, he'll do it. I can't imagine what it would be like to be the First Lady of Tennessee, but who knows? I don't rule it out. It's dangerous to say never."

The mother of three says she makes an effort to keep the spark alive in her marriage. "Sometimes Tim and I drown in the day-to-day pressure of our careers," she says. "When we become impatient, we sometimes snap at each other because usually the people you treat the worst are the people who are closest to you. It's horrible. When that happens, we realize we need to be present for each other. He's really my best friend, and we just love being together."

Faith says Tim also helps her find time to spend with her friends. "Tim pushes me to have girl time. He knows I need it sometimes, just like he needs his boy time. I think it's hard for moms to say, 'I need a break.' I've realized that even a quick lunch is rejuvenating, the friendship equivalent of a power nap."
