December 26, 2007 — Joe Nichols will help Jay Leno ring in the new year on "The Tonight Show" when he performs his brand new single on the show on January 3, 2008.

Joe will debut "It Ain't No Crime," the second single from his latest CD, Real Things. The Tonight Show, which has been in reruns for weeks because of the writers' strike, goes back into live production the night before Joe's performance.

"I can't think of a better way for me to kick off the new year than being on the same stage as Jay Leno," Joe says. "And to be able to do the show in its first week back of live production just adds to the excitement. The band and I are going to go in and add as much as we can to the high energy level we know the show is going to have...these people are ready to get back in there and entertain — and so are we."

Joe's Real Things has landed on several best-of-the-year lists. "It Ain't No Crime" hits radio in January.
