January 10, 2008 — Just over 10 years after its initial release, Shania Twain's Come On Over remains the best selling album since Nielsen's Soundscan started tracking sales in 1991, according to countryondemand.com. Last year alone, the CD sold 41,000 copies.

Certified 20X platinum and racking up total sales of well over 15 million, Come On Over is the best selling country album of all time and the best selling female album of all time. Overall, Shania ranks tenth on Soundscan's list of all-time best sellers with 33 million units sold.

Shania, who was selected in a GAC poll as the singer most men would want to serenade them, is currently working on a new studio project. No release date has been set.
