February 5, 2008 — Garth Brooks has the leading role in Trisha Yearwood's day-to-day life, but she hand-picked another major celebrity when looking for the male lead for the video to "This Is Me You're Talking To."
Shot last week in Nashville, the video employed John Corbett, an actor who's also a country fan. In fact, he made a country album of his own.
"I was a big fan of his in 'Sex and the City' and 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding,'" Trisha says, "and I actually met him on the set of 'Northern Exposure' years back, so I knew he was taller than me, which is a plus for the role. So we just thought we'd ask him, and he said yes."
In the meantime, Trisha's previous single, "Heaven, Heartache And The Power Of Love," is nominated for Best Country Female Performance in the 50th annual Grammy Awards this Sunday.
