February 15, 2008 - Nostalgic for the 1990s? Want to thrust some old country CDs into the digital world?
That's what Capitol Records is doing by launching 20 albums from seven of its former artists on all major digital services beginning Feb. 26. The reissues include two albums from soulful singer John Berry, two from acclaimed singer-songwriter Lisa Brokop, four from sensitive vocalist Suzy Bogguss, six from handsome Billy Dean, a pair from modern honky-tonker George Ducas, three from raspy-voiced Tanya Tucker and the insightful Circles And Arrows from wry singer-songwriter Cheryl Wheeler.
Among the hits represented in the mass release are John's "Your Love Amazes Me," Billy's "Billy The Kid," George's "Lipstick Promises," Tanya's "Walking Shoes," Suzy's "Cross My Broken Heart" and Cheryl's original version of the Suzy Bogguss hit "Aces."
