February 22, 2008 - Tim McGraw & Faith Hill are one of country music's most intriguing couples, and they've worked together on a number of duet singles during their careers. Still, they've never collaborated on an entire album, though it's something they talk about.

"We are definitely going to do a duets album together," Faith Hill told Dial-Global. "It's just [a matter of] time. We have tons of ideas about songs, and we have lots of songs that we are going to record together. And we'll use the songs that we have recorded together. But it's coming... for sure."

But not likely any time soon, since Faith also released this statement through her publicist, Paul Freundlich: "Tim and I have always talked about making an album together, but at this time there are no plans for one this year. We're both working on our own projects, me on my first Christmas record and perhaps a few other surprises in '08, and he on a new tour, his next album and a movie to be released this Christmas."

They're hardly the only ones with duets on the mind these days. Reba McEntire released her Reba Duets album last year, and she's done a little switcheroo on one of the tracks. Kenny Chesney recorded "Every Other Weekend" with her for the album, but according to Dial-Global, their labels butted heads over Kenny being on a single with Reba. So she took his voice off the track and replaced it with Skip Ewing, who wrote the song. It marks a nice return to the public eye for Skip, who had four Top 10 hits as a solo artist in the late 1980s.

Meanwhile, Garth Brooks is dueting with Huey Lewis in "Workin' For A Livin'," and Garth's wife, Trisha Yearwood, can be heard singing with Josh Turner on "Another Try," which is featured on his latest album, Everything Is Fine. Josh was understandably thrilled when she did the song, and he told Dial-Global the performance "turned out to be a really special moment on the record."
