Josh Turner to Expand Family?

February 26, 2008 - Josh Turner is featured on the cover of the latest edition of "Country Weekly" magazine, where he says that he and his wife, Jennifer, have considered the idea of adding a second child to the family.

Jennifer, of course, sings in Josh's band, and they bring their 16-month-old son, Hampton, on the road with them.

"We've been talkin' about the dynamics that will bring," Josh tells CW, while contemplating two kids. "What always motivates us is that Tim [McGraw] and Faith [Hill] do it. Martina [McBride] does it. There are a lot of people who have taken their family out on the road."

All of the travelling that goes with that job has a purpose for Josh, and it's more than simply making money and becoming famous.

"I'm not just here to sell records and have hits and do shows and all that," he says. "I'm here to bring people hope and a sense of joy. I've had a lot of spiritual experiences that have really confirmed the things I believe in and the things I don't believe in. And I don't ever plan to waver from what I believe in."
