March 10, 2008 - Carrie Underwood is enjoying quite the carnival ride through the music charts of late. Her current single, "All-American Girl," became her sixth straight release to hit No. 1 last week.
In addition, it's the top country song at iTunes, and it ranks at the top of GAC's weekly Top 20 Countdown. In fact, Carrie's the only artist to ever debut at No. 1 on the Countdown — she first did it with "Before He Cheats" and has repeated that feat with "All-American."
The video "is a true reflection of the many different lifestyles represented by our audience," says Sarah Trahern, GAC Senior Vice President of Programming, "and it lives up to the high creative standards set by all of her videos."
Look for Carrie on GAC's Opry Live! on Saturday and on the April 9 edition of FOX-TV's American Idol: Idol Gives Back.
