March 28, 2008 - Taylor Swift compiled four hits off her debut album, but she's hardly sitting back and congratulating herself. She's already at work on her sophomore release, which will include an appearance by pop singer Colbie Caillat, who made a mark last year with her song "Bubbly."
"I don't really have a cool-people list, but if I did, she'd be No. 1," Taylor told the national radio show GAC Nights: Live From Nashville. "She's got this amazing album that I've fallen in love with, and I got the great opportunity to write a song with her. And she starts singing these background vocals, and I'm like, 'Omigod! She's got the best voice ever!' and so, that's a really cool thing that I'm very excited about on this album. We have a lot of things in common, so I think it's a really cool collaboration."
Taylor's fans will have to wait for the next album, but not too long. She expects it will be released by the end of the year.
