April 21, 2008 - Kenny Chesney kicked off his 2008 tour schedule with a pair of dates this weekend at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., but concert tickets aren't the only thing he's selling these days.

The Los Angeles Times reports Kenny has put a five-bedroom, five-bath house in Malibu, Calif., on the market for a hefty $7.95 million. The place has 3,700 square feet of space and a view of the Pacific Ocean. If you didn't know that Kenny had a house on the West Coast, you're not alone. Apparently, he bought the place rather quietly in February for $7.4 million. So if he gets his asking price, that's a tidy $550,000 profit, though agent commissions would likely eat up a good chunk of it.

Meanwhile, the Times piece also indicates Kenny has a home on the market in the Virgin Islands for a whopping $14 million. That abode features more than 10,000 square feet of space with a 9,100-square-foot deck, seven bedrooms and a 1.7-acre plot.

Getting ready for the tour, Kenny made one semi-public stop last week. The Baltimore Sun reports he took batting practice with major-league baseball's Orioles on Thursday as a guest of Kevin Millar. Kenny wore No. 7, and it apparently brought the team good luck: They beat the Chicago White Sox, 6-5.
