April 25, 2008 - Taylor Swift has repeatedly gone places recently where country artists have rarely been welcomed, landing cover slots on "Blender" and "Rolling Stone" magazine. Now she's becoming the first musician in any genre to receive the Superstar of Tomorrow honor during the 10th annual Young Hollywood Awards at the Avalon, located along the Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.

The Superstar of Tomorrow trophy has successfully gauged performers who have risen quickly in the acting ranks. Among its previous winners are Katherine Heigl, Shia LaBeouf, Jessica Alba and Brandon Routh. Taylor will pick up the honor when the awards are handed out on Sunday.

Taylor will also be the cover girl for the June issue of Seventeen magazine, and she's scheduled as a guest on ABC's Good Morning America Tuesday and on Live With Regis And Kelly Wednesday.

Taylor's current video, "Picture To Burn," ranks No. 5 on GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown.
