May 13, 2008 — This isn’t the reason Dierks Bentley makes music, but it’s a good bet that he’s quite happy with the latest bit of recognition he’s received: Dierks has been named one of the "25 Fittest Guys In America" in the June/July issue of Men’s Fitness magazine, which hits newsstands Monday, May 19.

According to the publication, Dierks has worked out in just about every independent gym and every fitness chain in the U.S. In fact, he says, "I’ve even worked out in church basements!"

Among the other guys on the list are golfer Tiger Woods, quarterback Brady Quinn, actors Will Smith and Daniel Craig, rapper Flo Rida and Democratic presidential contender Barack Obama.

Just as Barack is out stumping for votes, Dierks is on the trail to create awareness for his new album, Greatest Hits//Every Mile A Memory 2003-2008. Thursday, that road finds him on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
