July 8, 2008 — Brad Paisley is calling his summer dates the Paisley Party Tour, and with a name like that, one would expect some pretty rowdy behavior. According to Jewel, those kinds of expectations would be wrong.
"Most tours I have been on, everyone eats pizza after the show, drinks and sleeps ‘til afternoon," she says. "But on this tour, they eat veggies and fruit after the show, rarely drink, and most of them get up and work out. My assistant Amy and I like to run in the mornings, so sometimes we all go together — [it’s] a big Jewel family-group run complete with our finest pre-run stretching. We are all pretty silly — which is important when everyone is working so hard, and living so close together."
The Paisley Party, sponsored in part by GAC, also features Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough. This weekend’s itinerary includes Cincinnati on Friday; Bristow, Va., on Saturday; and Saratoga Springs, N.Y., on Sunday.
