July 23, 2008 — Keith Anderson has a Top 10 hit with his single "I Still Miss You," which has turned out to be a song with great significance for both Keith and his fans.

"It’s just kind of a chameleon song, it’s taken on so many different meanings for so many different people," he told the national radio show GAC Nights: Live From Nashville. "For me, it was written about a heartbreak, and then quickly changed when my mom got brain cancer last year. We dealt with that for a year, and even though she just recently passed, you know the last six months she really hasn’t been mom. And so it’s been a deal of just missing, and the whole video was shot kinda as a tribute to mom and going through those emotions of missing her."

Listeners have related to the message, and as a result, they’ve also related to him in a way that’s different from his first hit, "Pickin’ Wildflowers," and from the other songs on his forthcoming CD C’mon.

"There’s a lot of emotions on this record and a lot of different parts," he said. "But it’s just one more step of people kinda getting to know who I am and what I’m about."

C’mon is set for release Aug. 5. If you'd like to ask Keith a question, he'll be taping in our studios soon. Click here to send us your question for Keith!
