Aug. 27, 2008 — Gentlemen, sharpen your knives: James Otto will serve as a sous chef, assisting Iron Chef Michael Symon on the second episode of the Food Network’s "Dinner: Impossible" tonight, Aug. 27, at 10p E/P. Visit FoodNetwork.com for more details and complete list of additional times!

Grand Ole Opry star Charlie Daniels delivers the evening’s assignment to Michael, who requires James’ assistance to whip up a country-themed meal for 300 people under a tight deadline. The meal cannot be served until it meets with Charlie’s approval.

Hopefully James’ work in the kitchen is as successful as his work in the recording studio. His single "Just Got Started Lovin’ You," produced by John Rich, is reportedly the most-played song on country radio thus far in 2008, according to Mediabase data. James will hit the road in October with Alan Jackson and Trace Adkins on the Good Time Tour.

The Food Network is a subsidiary of Scripps Networks, as is GAC.
