Aug. 20, 2008 — The Lost Trailers are quickly making a name for themselves with their first bona fide hit, "Holler Back," which reached the Top 10 in this week’s Mediabase country singles chart, printed in Tuesday’s edition of USA Today.

The song’s made such an impact that fans have been holding up signs at the band’s concerts that reference some of the lyrics, saying "I’m With E. Diddy" or "We’re Shakin’ Our Sassafrass." But that’s not the only feedback the Trailers are getting at their shows: They’re also finding some people are in a huff about having to wait for the album.

"The fans come up after the show, where we're selling merch and signing stuff — 'cause we always try to do that — and [ask] where it is and [are] almost visibly angry that it's not out yet," lead singer Ryder Lee told Dial-Global. "So we're really anxious for Aug. 26 to get here so that the record can be out and these fans that are really wantin' to have the song and the whole CD can pick it up."

Until that release on Tuesday, their supporters will have to pack up their signs and travel to a venue to see the band play "Holler Back" live. They’ve got two shows on tap before the release: Thursday in Gilford, N.H., with Montgomery Gentry, John Michael Montgomery and Jason Michael Carroll; and Saturday in Omaha, Neb.
