Aug. 28, 2008 — The Lost Trailers have released several albums since their 2001 inception, and they landed a trio of songs on the national country charts two years ago, though none of them quite made country music’s Top 40.

Thus "Holler Back" has the band extremely excited. The single is in the Top 10 on the Country Aircheck chart for a second week in a row, an affirmation that their insticts about the song were on target when they first recorded it.

"When it came through the speakers in the studio, we knew we had something," lead vocalist Ryder Lee told the national radio show GAC Nights: Live From Nashville. "But what’s really been awesome is being out at these festivals and these big shows and still playing the new artist stages and having droves of people come over and everybody as far as you can see knowing the lyrics and singing it back to you. You know, that’s the power of radio. That’s something that we never experienced before, and in that sense ‘Holler Back’ is our first single."

It’s also the title of the band’s latest album, released on Tuesday.
