Sept. 5, 2008 — Two of country music’s most promising newcomers will share space on this week’s edition of GAC’s Top 20 Country Countdown, as Luke Bryan and Emily West step in as guest hosts.

Luke made huge strides in the last year with his first two hits, the party single "All My Friends Say" and the tongue-in-cheek "Country Man," which currently sits at No. 16 on the countdown. To make the year even better, he grabbed a No. 1 single as a writer on Billy Currington’s "Good Directions."

Emily moved to Nashville from Iowa eight years ago, and after learning the ropes, she made her first splash on the charts this year with "Rocks In Her Shoes." Extremely personable, her debut album is expected after the first of the year.

Top 20 Country Countdown counts down the week's top country videos from No. 20 to No. 1 as voted by viewers on each week on GACTV.com. A new countdown premieres every Friday at 8 p.m. ET on GAC and airs again Saturdays at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. ET; Sundays at 1 p.m. ET; and Mondays at 10 a.m. ET.
