Sept. 5, 2008 — George Strait "still feels 25 most of the time," according to the first line of his hit "Troubadour," but his music is getting even younger with the release of a new sleep-inducing project for crib-aged kids.

Hushabye Baby: Lullaby Renditions Of George Strait is one of three albums in the Hushabye series slated for release in November. The songs are already familiar to Mom and/or Dad, and their soothing treatments — traditional country instrumentation mixed with such restful sounds as the celeste and the xylophone — are designed to create a peaceful environment for the child.

George’s hit "Love Without End, Amen" got the lullaby treatment on one of four previous Hushabye albums that drew from multiple country stars. The new Strait-centric collection is due Nov. 18 — the same day as Hushabye Baby: Lullaby Renditions Of Carrie Underwood. Another title in the series, Hushabye Baby: Lullaby Renditions Of Johnny Cash, is expected Nov. 4.
