Sept. 16, 2008 — Week two of the NFL season is in the books, and one of the artists who’s following the game this year is Kellie Pickler, who has ties to two different teams in the league.
"I love football," she told the national radio show GAC Nights: Live From Nashville. "Hockey’s my main sport, but I do like football. I’m from North Carolina, so of course, I was a Panther fan, and I still am. I love Carolina, so yeah, I pull for them. I’m in Tennessee now, so of course, I’m backin’ up the Titans. I love football. I think it’s great. It’s fun, it’s kinda like you can take the whole family and go to a game and sit on the end of your chair. It’s just a fun sport to follow."
Kellie should be extremely pleased at the moment. Both the Panthers and the Titans won their first two games.
Meanwhile, this Saturday she’ll be featured in the premiere episode of a new GAC series, Into The Circle. Kellie and Trace Adkins appear in the inaugural installment, airing at 10 p.m. ET.
