Sept. 23, 2008 — Now that she’s a major star, one of Taylor Swift’s ambitions is to land a guest role on the ABC series "Grey’s Anatomy." That hasn’t quite happened yet, but she’ll come pretty close on the season premiere this Thursday when one of her new songs, "White Horse," is featured on the show.

"You should've seen tears streaming down my face when I got the phone call that they were going to use that song," she told Billboard. "I have never been that excited. My love of 'Grey's Anatomy' has never wavered. It's my longest relationship to date."

"White Horse" is scheduled to appear on her next album, Fearless, which will be released Nov. 11. "It's one of the songs that I am really proud of on the record because it's so sparse — it's guitar, piano and cello," she said. "It talks about falling in love and the fairy tales that you are going to have with this person, and then there is that moment where you realize that it is not going to happen. That moment is the most earth-shattering moment."

Taylor had a good earth-shattering moment a year ago when she won the Horizon Award at the Country Music Association Awards. This year, the CMA trophies will be handed out on Nov. 12 — the day after Fearless is released. Taylor is in the running for Female Vocalist of the Year.
