Oct. 10, 2008 Two established hitmakers with new albums coming this month, Lee Ann Womack and Billy Currington, make a tandem appearance with host Nan Kelley this week on GACs Top 20 Country Countdown.
Lee Ann, whose current video "Last Call" is getting significant play on GAC, has her Call Me Crazy CD slated for an Oct. 21 street date. Since her last album, Theres More Where That Came From, won the Country Music Associations Album of the Year honor, theres plenty riding on this project, and it boasts a duet with George Strait and harmony vocals by Keith Urban.
In the meantime, Billys "Dont" is poised in the Top 25 on the Country Aircheck singles chart as his Little Bit Of Everything comes out on Tuesday. Billy co-wrote five of the 12 songs on the CD; his last album brought him a No. 1 single with "Good Directions."
