October 20, 2008 After a long prank-filled tour, Brad Paisley finally got what he deserved. Last Saturday night in San Antonio, Texas, Brad thought he was getting the last word on his tourmates, Jewel and Chuck Wicks.
Chuck pranked Brad by stepping onto the stage dripping with maple syrup and covered in feathers. And during Jewel's set, a large man dressed as a giant condom swung just feet over her head. Since it was the last night of the tour, that should've put a cap on the pranks, right?
Not so fast.
In an effort to humble the King of Tour Pranks, Jewel and her touring crew continued the mischief late into the night. GAC's Storme Warren reports that at 3:15 a.m. Sunday morning, Brad and his crew arrived in Nashville via private jet. They were greeted by two unmarked police cars, two retired police officers and a night sky filled with flashing blue and white lights.
This exclusive video footage, shot by GAC's Country Music Across America, tells the rest of the story.
Brad's new instrumental album Play hits stores on November 4. Jewel's new single, "'Til it Feels Like Cheating," hits radio next week.
