Oct. 31, 2008 The news channels are obsessed with Tuesdays election, but Barack Obama and John McCain are not the only national figures with their futures riding on Election Day events.
Brad Paisleys new album, Play, is set for release the same day, aided by his most prominent running mate, Keith Urban, who joined Brad on the CDs first single, "Start A Band."
Brad is shamelessly courting every vote or, more precisely, sale he can generate from the citizenry.
"As far as Rock The Vote goes, this is more like Country The Vote," he winks. "They always are tryin to get people to go out and vote, and thatd be great. I think they probably ought to go out and vote, but twice as important as that is probably buying this record. If you want this country to be in good hands, buy my record. Thats the change we need, ladies and gentlemen. Buy this instrumental record."
Supporting Brads campaign are Vince Gill, B.B. King, Steve Wariner and former Desert Rose Band guitarist John Jorgenson, all of whom make guest appearances on Play.
