Nov. 17, 2008 — Blake Shelton’s new album will be released on Tuesday, and it includes a duet with his girlfriend, Miranda Lambert.

But it’s not the only collaboration Blake has on a brand-new release. He’s also featured alongside Michael Buble on a performance of "Home" that’s included on Hit Man: David Foster & Friends. All of which came to Blake as a total surprise.

"I have not heard it yet," Blake said last week on the red carpet at the BMI Awards. "In fact, you know what’s funny? I didn’t even know that that was gonna be [on] an album for sale until about [two weeks] ago. I got really excited because I looked on the list of the performers they had, and man, I was freakin’ out ‘cause there’s some big names on that record. Now I can prove to everybody that I actually do know Michael Buble!"

Among the other acts on that CD are Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, Brian McKnight, Kenny G and former Chicago vocalist Peter Cetera.

Blake’s new album, Startin’ Fires, includes his current single, "She Wouldn’t Be Gone," which is planted at No. 2 on GAC’s Top 20 Country Countdown.
