Nov. 19, 2008 — Tim McGraw is part of an all-star cast for the movie The Four Christmases, which opens next week. Among the other stars in the picture are Reese Witherspoon, Vince Vaughn and Robert Duvall, who may appear with Tim in another picture down the line.

"There’s a movie we’re talking about it," Tim told the national radio show GAC Nights: Live From Nashville. "It’s not gotten to the pre-production part, but it’s certainly a thing we’ve talked about for a year now that’s based on a true story, and I believe over in East Tennessee, about a man, an older gentleman. He and the town and the funeral parlor kind of faked his death to kind of have a party in the town. And it’s a pretty interesting movie."

For now, Tim’s got Four Christmases on the brain. Opening Nov. 26, the picture also features Sissy Spacek, Mary Steenburgen and Dwight Yoakam. To help promote it, Tim’s slated to host "Saturday Night Live" this Saturday on NBC.
